State Definition of Timely Manner for the Delivery of AIM to Students

"Districts must take all reasonable steps to provide print instructional materials in accessible formats to children with disabilities at the same time as other children receive those materials" (Opens new windowhttp://www.education.nh.gov/instruction/special_ed/nimas.htm).

AIM-Related State Laws and Regulations

Provisions within the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 require state and local education agencies to ensure that textbooks and related core instructional materials are provided to students with print disabilities in specialized formats in a timely manner. NHAIM supports Section 300.172, Final Regulations of IDEA 2004.
